Salesforce wanted to engage teams across different markets and offices in the United States.

Program Summary

SuitUp organized and facilitated four competitions with Salesforce and students from across the U.S. Their challenge was simple: create a new teen-friendly podcast for Spotify.

In October of 2021, Salesforce suited up in four major cities with KIPP San Francisco, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington and Baltimore, Twilight Academy in Boston, and Lighthouse Charter School in NYC. Each region’s winning team then went head to head against students in other regions for a chance to claim the national title. The NYC team took home the win with their “The Social Distance” podcast idea.

The multi-market competition style has become an annual event with Salesforce, each year growing in size and engaging more teams across the country. SuitUp is excited to keep making an impact on volunteers and students nationwide through this programming.
